I tried so hard not to yell out WHAT!? Again, as I did my very best to listen to my niece talking just across the room at that moment...

With the amplifiers installed and turned on I was ready to see if I could tell any difference in hearing. The short answer is YES, right away.

I think the best description is that the dialogue from the TV was much more clear and sharper. The typical background music seemed a bit suppressed and the tone of the dialogue slightly higher pitched (a bit like turning the tenor/base knob on a radio to max tenor). This definitely improved the understanding of dialogue.

Over the days after receiving the amplifiers I've used them for a few hours each day, mostly to watch TV just to start. The result was QUITE IMPRESSIVE. I won't claim that I could understand 100% right away, but in a short time and some adjusting I could hear 90-95% now versus about 25% without the amplifiers.

Overall, a significant improvement!
